Netflix can Automatically Download Movies and TV Shows for You on Android. Netflix is giving a new feature “Downloads for You” to the users. Users are can set this feature in the Netflix app and automatically download movies and TV shows whatever you like. Hereupon, do watch that stuff without internet access in your spare time. Previously, it would automatically delete the watched episodes and download the next episodes of TV shows. But you can’t do with the movies. 

How to activate automatically download movies and TV shows on Netflix app

Netflix Downloads for you feature can activate on inside the Netflix app. The feature is available for Android devices for now. Doesn’t know when it feature comes for iOS or iPadOS devices.

Steps for activating the Download for You feature on the Netflix app

Netflix can automatically download movies and TV shows for You on Android.

  1. Open the Netflix app.
  2. Click the toggle next to Download for You.
  3. Decide how much storage space you want to allocate for Downloads for You. Netflix says 3GB is enough for 12 movies and TV shows.
  4. Tap Turn On.

Later, you can deactivate the Download for You at any time. Also, if you face storage problem, you can decrease the amount as per your according from Download – Smart Downloads.

Netflix download for you feature is globally available on Android devices. Now, this feature is testing on iOS, it will take almost seven months to enter on iOS too.

Netflix’s director of product innovation Patrick Flemming wrote in a Netflix blog that “We want to make discovering your next new favorite series or film quick and easy whether you’re connected or not. Today we’re launching Downloads for You, a new feature that automatically downloads recommended shows or movies to your mobile device based on your tastes.
