Apple may include its new A17 bionic chipset in the iPhone 15 Pro model. With this chip, Apple emphasis more on extending battery life more than performance. Apple will probably utilize Taiwan Semiconductor Assembling Organization’s (TSMC) 3nm process to make the Apple A17 chip.

According to the report, the Apple A17 chip found in the iPhone 15 series may contribute to longer battery life. The rumors that TSMC’s 3nm process would result in chips with increased power and improved energy efficiency.
According to reports, TSMC chairman Mark Liu stated that the 3nm process chips would have better performance than the 5nm process chips while consuming 35% less power. It’s possible that TSMC’s 3nm chips’ vague statement about power and somewhat specific estimate of battery life will give us an idea of what to expect.
This 3nm Apple A17 chip is anticipated to be included in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models. In the meantime, the Apple A16 Bionic chipset might be added to the non-Pro model. Additionally, the iPhone 15 series might see an increase in RAM. They might have 8GB of RAM as opposed to the 6GB that the iPhone 14 phones have.
